Safe Driving

Protecting Our Community by Protecting Our Roads — Drive Sober

In a community that rallies around festivals ladened with alcoholic beverages, it’s imperative to educate young people about the perils of impaired driving. Mountain Youth has stepped into the role to provide education, input and alternatives to the partying lifestyle. Mountain Youth will continue to educate young people on the importance of safe driving by providing sober driving options, reminding youth to choose sobriety and ultimately changing the overall community behavior when it comes to driving sober and safely. Through a five-year grant awarded by the State of Colorado, Mountain Youth will collaborate with local community partners to lower impaired and distracted driving throughout Eagle County.

Mountain Youth engages community stakeholders from a variety of sectors to be part of No DUI Steering Committee. Interested in being involved? Please contact Hillary Higgins.
